Hi! My name is
I’m an Animal in Care at AARCS
Date of Birth
August 28, 2015
Maple is showing herself to be a people’s dog. She has been quick to form strong bonds with her foster parents.
She has been an easy to care for guest in our house. She is totally house trained and sleeps through the night in an open crate. Since walking into the house she has established herself as an equal to my two resident dogs, where often it takes days to acquire a truce.
Maple loves going for walks and is surprisingly well mannered on the leash; no pulling and very little crossing over. Maple is learning many of the dogie obedience tricks such as sit, come and down. These are coming along well. She is also learning how to get into a car.
The most outstanding characteristic about Maple is how she shows her affection so easily to her foster family and strangers. She rarely barks and maintains her “chill” demeanor most of the time.
