Keelor is a cuddle bug who would love to join an active home. Everyone who meets Keelor can’t help but fall in love. She is such a sweet dog who wants to meet everyone she comes across. She wants all the pets and likes to cuddle in close.
Keelor is still a pup and is learning the basics, but she is catching on quickly and with consistency she will pick up on all the tricks. She is eager to learn and would love to take a puppy class with you.
She is an active dog who has a great temperament – she would love to join an active home who will take her on regular walks and adventures. She is such a great walker, easy to manage when on leash and doesn’t pull at all. When she is taken on regular walks she settles easily and can be left alone for hours with no worries about her eating a couch cushion. Keelor knows how to be lady and will do her business outside but is still learning to ask to go outside so she needs you to be mindful of taking her outside every so often.
Having a home with a larger, quiet and calm dog would be great (but not necessary) so Keelor can continue to build her confidence. She has shown no fear of people but can be a little anxious about the world in general – she is slow to go through doors and can startle when she isn’t sure what is around the corner. Having a confident dog can help Keelor in learning the world isn’t scary. But please no small critters or cats – Keelor gets very excited with small animals and wants to play chase which they don’t always appreciate. She also asks that there be no young kids – she can get excited and mouthy, she may not know her strength around little ones so it’s best if she was in a home with teenagers or no kids.
Keelor has the most beautiful golden eyes – when you meet her, you will be guaranteed to fall in love.
