Hi! My name is
I’m an Animal in Care at AARCS
Date of Birth
July 19, 2019
Pepper came to AARCS after being passed around a few times, so he hasn’t had much time to really settle in with a family. Once he gets comfortable the next thing you know you’ll have a little black and white shadow following you everywhere. Until he has settled in and found a new routine, Pepper will attempt to let you know when he wants something, which means he will bark until he gets it.
Pepper will only have accidents if not let outside reliably, or if you ignore his request to go outside. This poor guy had to have all of his teeth removed so it’s strictly a soft food diet but he isn’t fussy. He just likes to eat. Pepper’s eyesite is also deteriorating so sometimes you have to help him out in knowing where you are.
Currently Pepper will sleep on whomevers’ bed he’s allowed. If he can’t get onto a bed he’ll settle for a dog bed or even the floor. He loves to hang out with his human brother and sister and is quite tolerant of being handled by them. He has also spent time with large and small breed dogs with no problem.
All around Pepper isn’t really bothered by much as long as he has someone to hang out with, food, and a warm place to sleep. He’s an extremely sweet little man that will steal your heart in no time.
Who will be lucky enough to become Peppers retirement home?
