Hi! My name is
I’m an Animal in Care at AARCS
Date of Birth
March 1, 2018
My foster mom says we need to work on my boundaries but I just love to cuddle and give kisses. We’re working on some commands now, and I’m a quick learner… but that’s because I. LOVE. TREATS. And potato chips (tail paused… did I hear a chip bag rustle). Oh and guess what? I haven’t had a single accident in the house. But I need to save my pee for all those places to mark while on walks. I love my fur brother, the cat. We sleep on the bed together, touch noses, and sometimes I just like to give him a kiss too. I don’t like the dog in the mirror or in the tv reflection, and sometimes react to it because it looked at me funny! And that voice my mom calls ‘Hey google’ makes me nervous.
I get excited to see other dogs, but sometimes growl at them if they come on too strong. My foster mom and I are working on my social skills – I hope I’ll find someone to keep working on them with me. Because I am calm for my age and love my people, I would be happy as an only dog in the home, or potentially could live with another chill dog like me. I am not a fan of crazy puppies, exuberant dogs, and dogs who get in my face (who can blame me!). I haven’t met any small humans yet… my foster mom says I’m unaware of my size so I think medium and full sized humans would be best for me!
I don’t even know you and I love you. Please come meet me!” – xo, Bosco
