Hi! My name is
I’m an Animal in Care at AARCS
Retriever, Curly Coated/Mix
Date of Birth
October 25, 2017
I’m a quiet soul but I also have a playful side! I’m a real people lover and will be your shadow, looking for affection and giving back kisses. Although I’m a bit shy at first, it’s easy to build trust through kindness and gentle gestures. Let me meet new people at my own pace until I get to know them then I’m all about the pets and belly rubs! I might be open to meeting new four legged friends slowly with lots of encouragement from my human.
I’m a little nervous with sudden movements and really loud noises, so please be patient and reassure me that everything is alright. Because of this, a home without small toddlers would be best. I love going for walks and smelling new things and I’m happy to go at your pace. Guide me to your preferred side or we might get tangled up with my long legs! Playing outside is a favorite pastime, especially if you throw my favorite “duckie” toy or ball. When we’re done, I’ll cuddle with you on the couch or nap in my fluffy bed.
Watch me sit for a yummy treat (who doesn’t love treats, right?) and don’t worry about my eating habits – I’ll get to my food bowl when I’m ready. You’re looking at a gal who is well trained and had no accidents in the house. I’ll let you know when I want to go outside by sitting at the door or grabbing a toy to tell you “I gotta go!”
Look no further than my sweet-tempered self as your loyal and loving companion! Are you ready to bring me home?” – xo, Mox
