About Aspen

“Hi everyone! My name is Aspen. I am a 6 year old Shepherd Cross who is looking for my furrrever home! I can’t wait to meet you!

I was adopted as a puppy through AARCS’ and unfortunately my mom who saved me can no longer take care of me due to health reasons so I am looking for a new and final home. I am a very sweet girl who loves people and other animals. I truly don’t have a mean bone in my body. I enjoy going on walks, I am very good on a leash, you won’t have to worry about me pulling. I am looking for an owner who will take me on walks as I love adventures through the community and I enjoy smelling all the things.

I have some anxiety so I think being in a home with little children may be too much for me. I do love kids but I don’t liked to be poked or prodded. I am content just laying around the house chilling. I love getting chin scratches from my humans and I love giving kisses in return.

I am somewhat of a picky eater but if you mixed some wet food in with hard food, I will be all over it. So yummy!  I also love my treats – who doesn’t love all the treats?

I came into my foster home with bad anxiety but within 15 minutes of being there, my shakes went away and I was totally fine. I am on anxiety meds right now but I truly believe it will be temporary. Once I am comfortable with my new humans, I don’t think I will need them anymore.

I am potty trained and will only ever go to the washroom outside. I would prefer a backyard  if possible, it doesn’t have to be big but somewhere safe I can have a washroom break.

At the end of the day, I am pretty low maintenance, I just want to be loved and feel safe and I promise I will love you just as much in return. I think I would best be suited in a quiet home rather then a chaotic one.

My foster parents always tell him how sweet I am, I love when my foster mom hugs me and pets under my ears and chin. Again I don’t have a mean bone in my body, I love everyone and everything, I am just on the more relaxed side.

I can’t wait to meet you, I have all the kisses and love to give.” – xo, Aspen
