Cider is a young, petite grey short-haired girl with a quiet presence and a tender heart. She’s very fearful right now and still figuring out that the world—and people—can be safe. When someone enters the room, she prefers to tuck herself away and observe from a hidden spot.

That said, Cider has already shown sweet signs of progress. With patience and consistency, she’s begun eating tube treats directly from a hand, a big step for a cat who’s still learning to trust. These small moments show that, underneath the fear, there’s a gentle soul who wants to connect—just at her own pace.

Cider is looking for a calm, understanding home with a patient adopter who will let her set the timeline. She doesn’t need to be rushed, handled, or “fixed”—she needs space, predictability, and kindness. A quiet household and an experienced or very compassionate adopter would be ideal.
