Miley did a wonderful job raising her little family and is excited to think about what she really wants now that her pups are off on their own! Her Foster Family sat down with her to get the real story behind what makes her tail wag. 🎤

First, a little about you? – “As you know, I came to AARCS with my pups in tow. I was skin and bones, so they knew I needed some extra help, but I never let it show; You don’t get named ‘smiley Miley’ for having a bad attitude.” 🥹

What are your favorite things to do? – “First, chewing, as I LOVE a hard toy – but let me clarify that I don’t chew anything that isn’t my own. I also love napping (who doesn’t) and slow sniff-walks to explore the world outside. I’m playful in bursts inside, but then I feel the warmth of the sunbeam, and I just must lay down for a rest and a snore.” 💤

I noticed ‘training’ wasn’t on your favorite things list, is there something we should know? – “I just forgot! I think a lot about treats and how to get them. If I can make people happy AND get a treat well, I’m smart enough to know that’s win-win! In fact, I was wondering… you always tell me I’m a such a good girl for asking to go outside to do my business, that I take excellent care of the house when I’m home by myself and also that I’m a dream dog on car rides. However, I don’t always get a treat for this – maybe an idea we could talk about after the interview?” 🍬

Sure. Now, when you dream of your forever home, what do you see? – “Someone(s) that loves me. Toys and cushy beds. Someone who can slow down on walks to enjoy sniff time and is patient when I pull to get at that scent I really want (it’s not my fault I’m so strong.) Oh, and maybe a fenced backyard, as it can be a little scary at night having to do my business out in the open.” 🏡

Anything else you would want people to know about you? – “I don’t want to be braggy but I’m a sweet and easy going dog. I have lots of love to give and I’m just so excited to get a family of my own!” 💕
