Meet Sable

Sable is a shy but incredibly sweet young lady who’s learning that humans can be pretty great! When she first arrived in foster care, she wasn’t too sure about us two-legged types — but she’s come such a long way. These days, she’s happy to hang out in the same room (or even right beside you!) as long as you respect her boundaries. Pets aren’t quite on the menu yet, but with time and patience, Sable will let her heart catch up with her curiosity.

Don’t let her shy side fool you — Sable has a big playful streak! Whether she’s zooming around the room, swiping your hair ties, or rearranging the blankets just so, this silly girl knows how to have fun. She enjoys playing on her own or with other cats, and she’s always ready to “help” foster mom with chores, watching every move with her big, curious eyes.

Sable may be cautious, but she’s also deeply observant and quietly affectionate. She’ll respond to kind words with soft, slow blinks — her gentle way of saying “thank you.”

Sable is looking for a patient, understanding home that will give her the time and space she needs to blossom. With love and reassurance, this curious little spirit will surely become a loyal and loving companion.
