She would do best in a cat-free home, as she prefers to focus her energy elsewhere. Because she can be a bit sensitive and unsure at times, a quieter household would be the best match for her. She has always been gentle and kind with her caregivers — showing just how trusting and affectionate she can be once she feels comfortable. Vail truly wants to connect; she just needs a family who can meet her where she’s at and help her continue building on the progress she’s already made. She can sometimes let her brother know that she isn’t interested in sharing, so adopters should work with her on this.
