About Vail

Meet Vail — a beautiful, sweet-natured puppy with a gentle heart and a playful spirit!

This lovely girl has already shown how much potential she has to grow and thrive in the right environment. Though she can be a bit fearful at first and startles easily with sudden movements, Vail’s sweetness always shines through once she feels safe. She’s made wonderful progress in building trust and confidence, and with continued patience and understanding, she’s sure to keep blossoming into a confident, happy companion.

Vail is an active young pup who will thrive in a home that can provide her with plenty of playtime, enrichment, and positive experiences to keep her mind and body busy. She would do best in a cat-free home, as she prefers to focus her energy elsewhere. Because she can be a bit sensitive and unsure at times, a quieter household would be the best match for her. She has always been gentle and kind with her caregivers — showing just how trusting and affectionate she can be once she feels comfortable. Vail truly wants to connect; she just needs a family who can meet her where she’s at and help her continue building on the progress she’s already made. She can sometimes let her brother know that she isn’t interested in sharing, so adopters should work with her on this.

Like all puppies, Vail will benefit from ongoing training and socialization. Important skills to continue working on include house training, impulse control, and mouthing, along with providing a variety of brain games. Interactions between puppies and children or adult dogs should always be positive and well-supervised.

With her big heart, gentle nature, and growing confidence, Vail is ready to find an experienced, loving family who will cheer her on every step of the way. She’s the kind of dog who, once she trusts you, will reward you with unwavering love, loyalty, and endless joy!
