🌸 Meet Spring: A Beautiful Gentle Young Lady Ready to Bloom 🌸

Hi, I’m Spring (aka Momma Spring)! I am a stunning, small, gentle, polydactyl sweetheart who’s ready to find a calm, loving forever home after raising my kittens with devotion. Though I’m shy, I’m blossoming.

All five of my kittens have been adopted and although I’m not one to boast, I was the best, most attentive, mother ever, even letting my babies suckle for comfort up until they left for their forever homes! Although I feel safe, warm, fed, and loved in my foster home, now that my babies have grown and moved on, I need to find my forever humans, a person or people with lots of love, patience, kindness and understanding so that I can continue to blossom in my own time. 

Although I am shy, I am so sweet and very gentle. I trusted my foster mom to help care for my babies right from the start and welcomed nice, soft petting and even hand/paw holding. Over time, I have taken giant steps in the trusting department, particularly since I have extra toe beans to love (yup, I’m polydactyl, which makes me extra special). Now that I am feeling so much comfier, I come out of hiding to hang out with my foster mom or dad, but I only get as close to them as I feel comfortable. I am very good at letting them know when I’d like to be petted, get under-the-chin scritches and on occasion, get a tummy rub. So far, I don’t want to be picked up but I never, ever scratch or bite; when I’ve had enough socializing, I just retreat to one of my cat cubbies.

I loved watching my kittens play and now that I’m not on kitten duty, I like to play and just be a regular cat! I especially like when one of the resident cats comes to visit in my foster room. We really like watching each other and hanging out for hours at a time. I also like to climb to the top of one of my cat trees and peer out the window, and I get especially excited when my foster parents give me plain chicken (which I adore), lickables or treats.

I am a very tidy eater and drinker, scratch my claws on scratching posts, not furniture and use my litter box like an expert. I’m starting to get interested in life beyond my foster room, so I’ve done a tiny bit of exploring when the house is sleepy and quiet. In short, I’m a purrrfectly purrfect, well-mannered, refined young lady!

So, potential adopters, let me share my hopes and dreams. I will flourish in a peaceful environment where I know what to expect and I’d do best in a home with a predictable routine and lots of serene vibes. A quiet home without young kids or busy/loud tweens or teens would be ideal, as sudden noises and unpredictable energy can overwhelm me. I’m gaining confidence every day but still need a quiet room and some hiding spaces to retreat to. Also, I would really, really enjoy having the company of a calm, easy-going cat friend.
