Arthur (male) & Hugh (female) – Bonded Pair

Hello! We are Arthur and Hugh—though you can call us Sir Arthur and Lady Hilda Ursula Gertrude Henrietta (Hugh for short).

We’ve come to AARCS in search of a new kingdom to call our own. Though we’re 12 years young, we’re still spry as can be! Our favorite spot? Perched high atop a tall cat tower, keeping watch over our domain.

Like any royalty, we have our slight preferences (we’ve earned it, after all!), when it comes to flavours of food and types of litter. But when it comes to humans, we’re easy to please. A gentle pet and some cozy snuggles are all it takes to win us over—and a catnip toy or two (or ten) never hurt either.

Our foster parents describe us as very sweet, affectionate cats. We love to be near you as often as we can and even scooped up and snuggled. We both adore attention from people so if you’re in the room, we’ll be sure to be nearby to show you some love. We still have energy to enjoy a play session or two but generally we tend to lead the life of calm dignified cats.

And did we mention how much we adore each other? We’ve spent our whole lives together and we’ll need to be adopted as a pair. But that just means double the love and affection for you!

Our foster parents can’t get enough of our little quirks—like how Arthur’s tongue pokes out just a bit, or how Hugh shows her humans some affection with a sweet lick on the forehead. We like to communicate with our humans with the cutest chirrups and trills. And we’ve got the biggest purrs and show them off frequently!
