“Hi, I’m Wigglywoo and I’m as cute as my name. I am a little black gerbil full of curiosity and adventure. My favourite activities are digging burrows and tunnels, rearranging my cage and recycling whatever paper or cardboard my foster family gives me.

Being a gerbil means I love to make tunnels. I need a big enclosure filled with bedding so I can tunnel about to my little gerbil heart’s content. If you need cardboard or paper ripped up then I’m the gerbil for you! I’m excellent at it as I use it to make little nests in my burrows. I mostly eat gerbil food with some seeds and the odd fruit or veggie for treats.

I’m still getting used to my new foster home but it hasn’t stopped my curiosity from shining. I like to come check out the foster family when they are near. I pop up out of one tunnel, then pop down another after I’ve had a good look. I’ve done ok with previous gerbil friends but don’t have any at present. Do you want to be my friend?”
