Moderately shy

Hey it’s me, Beck! Looking handsome, amiright? 

I’m a really nice guy with a couple of quirks – but every cat has them, right? First off, I spend a lot of my daylight hours in hiding and only come out to eat, but even though I really want that food, I’m kinda nervous around humans when they’re upright. They’re so BIG and sometimes they move too fast for my liking so I keep my distance until that food bowl goes down in front of me. 

But, get this–once the evening news is over and everybody’s more or less horizontal, I just LOVE being with them. I let them know with my special sign language that I want lots and lots of affection and do I ever love getting it!  All purring, all the time. I have been known to share the bed with humans but sometimes when they roll over, I get scared and scram. 

I guess my tiny little meows must be super cute ‘cos my foster mom can’t stop telling me that. But I’m not a big talker— I only open my mouth when I’ve got something  important to say! My foster mom also thinks I look like there’s  some Bengal in my past—I look a bit exotic, what with that face and the black paws.

I really, really, really like living with another kitty and I’m good about knowing how to make cat friends. As for dogs, I’ve also shared space with a dog for an afternoon. He minded his manners and it went OK, so I’m thinking that as long as a pooch is respectful, we could be house mates. .

So basically, I’m a bit shy and careful about letting people in, but I’ve got tons of love to give! All I need is someone who can let me be me and I’ll be the happiest cat ever! Apply today! xo Beck
