Moderately shy

Hi, I’m Golden! I came to my foster home pretty scared and shut down. But in a couple of weeks, I’ve made huge strides!

I will play with my foster mom and let her pet me a bit but I still run and hide at any fast movement or noise. I really like to interact with her. She says she can tell I want to overcome my fear and be friends but that I need to move slow. I’m still pretty young and can get used to trusting humans.

I’ve met a few cats and kittens in this house and do okay with them… even when they hiss at me. I’m just learning to trust people. A quieter house with another confident cat would go a long way in helping me continue to come out of my shell.
