“I, Sadie, am the happiest little wiggley tail wagger, face licker you’ll ever meet.”

Little Sadie is a breath of fresh air. Contagious energy. Never ending love.

Sadie is a young puppy. From her little black snout to the white tip on her wagging tail, she is irresistible.

She uses her mouth to explore the world. Stuffed toys, squeaky toys, slippers, little fingers, they’re all important to her learning. You supply her with everything safe, for learning, and to relieve her teething, maybe some puppy school for fun and socialization!

Kisses and cuddles are as big a part of her day as playing with her toys. She loves to chase toys of any type that you throw for her, and with time, she’ll learn to bring them back to you. Tugging is a favorite, either with you or independently with a toy tethered.

She waits patiently while her harness is fastened on so she can go for a walk outside. She will shiver from cool temperatures and kiss your chin as you pick her up to cuddle her to warm up. I anticipate her “rocking” a winter wardrobe of cute jackets and sweaters!

Sadie stays close by much of the time, in case you want to bend down and scoop her up. When she’s sleepy, she’ll curl up by your feet or beside you on the couch for her nap.

At night, Sadie sleeps soundly in her crate beside your bed. If she has trouble settling or wakes during the night, I reach down and put my hand on the door of her crate so she knows she isn’t alone and she settles back to sleep. Sadie has been placed in her crate with a chewable treat while we’ve gone out for a few hours. When we return, it’s quiet until she becomes aware that we’re there, and then she fusses to be let out to wiggle wiggle and show her delight to see you.

Being young, she is ready to learn all you present to her with a small treat or a big “good girl, good girl” and a tickle of her chubby tummy for her attempts. She offers that tummy for rubs on her own.

Potty training is a work in progress for Sadie and for us. She will use disposable pee pads and is becoming more interested in going outside. We’ll keep watching for signs that she needs to go, anticipating her need, and rewarding success.

At this time, Sadie lives with 3 medium size dogs and 2 large cats. The cats have asked her to stay away and she respects that. She has happily met new people from 5 years old up, and the consensus is, “she’s so little and adorable.” She gets along with everyone.
