Baela is a gentle soul with a heart full of love, ready to blossom with the right family by her side.

When Baela first came into AARCS’ care, she was nervous and unsure, taking her time to adjust to new faces and surroundings. With patience and love, she’s made incredible progress and soon began to show her sweet personality.

After a few days in her foster home she has shown that she is a quick learner and that she is eager to please. She enjoys playing ball in her fenced yard and sleeps quietly through the night on her comfy bed. Though she’s still a little shy and easily startled, Baela meets visitors to her home with «all fours on the floor » and quickly warms up after a few sniffs. She is a dream to walk on the leash and walks without pulling. She already has her favorite corner in the yard to do her business and is on a regular schedule for poop and pee. With gentle reminders, Baela is learning which items are her toys and which ones are not for play in her foster home. This lovely girl has already figured out that her foster mom and dad don’t share their human food and that she has her own dog only food and eating spot. Baela is gradually learning that it is ok and safe to be on her own for short periods of time.

A fully fenced yard is required giving her a safe space to play and build confidence. Baela’s treat motivation is the key to her heart! She adores treat-filled Kongs and loves to try puzzle games to keep her mind busy and help her feel secure.

This gentle girl is looking for a family to guide her on this exciting journey. Baela has been eager to learn with someone who can gently show her the way. Her ideal home will be patient, understanding, and ready to celebrate all her victories, big or small. Baela is a true darling, just waiting for her chance to shine.
