Slightly timid

Hi there! The name’s Bond… Ismael Bond. Just kidding! I go by Ismael. While I may be a secret agent in training, I can’t reveal all my secrets just yet. But I can tell you that I’m an adorable tuxedo kitten on a top-secret mission: to find my forever home! And I’d love to recruit a hooman (or two) to join me in this very important mission.

When I’m not busy with my undercover work, you’ll find me engaged in playtime, my favorite activity. I’m a pro at chasing springs, tail toys, and pouncing on feet under the covers—because even secret agents need to keep their skills sharp, right?

True to my profession, I prefer to observe from a safe distance at first, just to make sure I’m not working with a double agent. But with a little patience, I warm up quickly. My current training school has two resident cats and I like to let them try things first, just to be sure it’s safe. But guess what? I’m getting braver by the day, and I’ve learned that humans are pretty great, too!

In fact, I recently passed some important milestones. Now I jump up to play on my foster parents’ laps when they have my favourite toys. I’m getting really good at approaching them to show off my investigative skills, and I’m learning that attention is worth seeking out. I love to follow my foster parents around to check out what they’re doing. And I even show off my purr whenever they play with me or even when we are just hanging out together. In fact, I’m more often purring when my foster parents are home than not! I just don’t quite like being petted on my back but I enjoy paw massages and even sometimes let you gently pet my tummy. Oh, and I even did great with my first paw-dicure.

If you’ve read my old bios, you’ll know this is huge progress for me in just a month. With the help of a feline mentor in my forever home, I’m sure I’ll be ready soon to accept all the love you have to offer!
