Moderately shy

Hi I’m Geno! I’m not gonna lie… I was EXTREMELY shy and scarred when my foster family took me in. I hid for a whole month! I was too terrified to come out or for people to even see me. I was very elusive. Since then, I’ve slowly gained confidence and started getting curious. I started observing my people from afar… safe enough for a quick return to my safe place. 

I now LOVE cuddles (on my own terms). I love to play and collect hair ties. I have also become quite vocal. My family says I have a really cute meow. I will tell you when there’s no food or water left on my bowls. I use my scratcher and not the furniture.

I would love to go to a family that will respect my boundaries but also loves to play and cuddle. I am still a bit skittish but I’m hoping I can go to a family with the patience and understanding that I may need my personal space.
