About Zelda

“Hi! My name is Zelda and I’m an energetic bundle of joy! When my foster family first brought me home, they thought I was going to be a quiet and gentle little girl… boy were they fooled!

My personality is as big as my heart, and I still have so much more love to show and give!! That’s why, a more energetic family who loves the outdoors will be perfect for me. A family who loves morning walks, afternoon walks, even late night walks! Heck, I’d take all 3! Walks in general makes me a very very happy pup. It also tires me out, so that way, I won’t annoy you as much. Speaking of walks, I am pretty good on a leash! Though I do have a weird obsession with moving cars… I would just stop and stare. Maybe I am just a car girl.

Because I am a husky cross, I tend to scream.. at times. But that is just part of my husky genetics! I am happy that it gives my foster family a good laugh though. Especially when it comes to taking baths, oh yeah. Might even sound like a crime scene. I am also VERY food motivated, making me super easy to train and pick up commands. However, because I love food so much, I basically inhale my meals. Foster mom says I need a slow feeder for my food cause I eat too fast. But come on, 30 seconds to finish all my food isn’t THAT fast.. right?

I love love LOVE being around humans. Big or small! So I don’t get scared when strangers come into the house or when the doorbell rings. A fan of hosting big house parties? I am cool with that. I also have a tendency to try and glue myself to my foster mom. Therefore, I WILL follow you everywhere you go, it’s impossible to escape from me. Personal space? Mm-mm, never heard of that. Aside from humans though, I get along pretty well with dogs! I’d say I am pretty smart, so I easily pick up house rules and other things just by observing and learning from the other pups.

Not to brag, but I am also pretty much crate trained and potty trained! I might scream at you a little when you put me in the crate, but don’t worry, give me like a minute and I will get over it. I sleep throughout the night and I am proud to say, I have never had a #2 in the house. Mhm, you heard me right. Though sometimes when I just can’t hold it in, I’ll still make a few accidents here and there, but cut me some slack! I am just a baby after all.

I really hope I can find my furever family. I am the cutest little pup you’ll ever meet, how can you resist!?” – xo, Zelda
