“Hi there! My name is Socorro but my foster family calls me Cora, which I quite like and respond to! I have heard that I am the sweetest and gentlest girl with the most beautiful eyes!

I had a very rough start to life, which has made me nervous, but I am still so eager to love. I am shy in new situations but I am learning to trust. Everyday I get a little braver and try new things. In my foster home there are two cats who I mostly just ignore. They seem ok to me. There are also three dogs. I like to run around and play with them. My play style is medium. I like to run and chase with a little bit of wrestling. I would love to have a confident dog friend in my new home!

I live with two kids who are 11 and 14. They are pretty great because they give me treats and gentle pets! They understand they need to go slow with me and not be too loud. I think really little kids might be a bit much for me right now but would love some older kids in my home.

I love being outside in the backyard, sniffing and exploring. I like to run around and get the zoomies too. I sure hope my new family will have a fenced back yard for me to play in. My foster mom is surprised by how good my recall is already. She calls my name and gives a whistle and I come running over to collect my treat and a little pet and scritch on my bum.

At first walks were a bit scary. Now I will bounce around while you get your shoes on i am so excited. I happily get my harness on. I am a bit nervous during my walks but love to sniff and walk. I am fully potty trained and don’t have any accidents. I don’t love the whole crate thing so my foster family lets me stay out at night and when they go out. I am the best girl and just chill. I don’t destroy anything or chew anything I shouldn’t.
