Slightly timid

Hello there! My name is Destry and I’m a sweet, loving boy looking for my forever home. Check out my grey fur patch on my side that’s in the shape of a perfect circle! My foster family fell in love with me right away and I hope you will too. I’m a cuddle bug and will come right up to you and lay on your lap and purr while you give me cheek scratches. I love to be around people and am a happy go lucky guy with a heart full of love to give. My manners are impeccable; I use my litter box and my scratching post. I enjoy playing with my cat wands too. Food time is the best! I can get a little scared sometimes by loud noises so I need you to be patient with me while I get used to my new surroundings. It’ll be worth it in the end I promise! I’m healing from a wound on my nose. You wouldn’t know it though as I don’t complain at all.

My foster family loves how friendly and good natured I am. I let the 7 year old in my foster home carry me around and I cuddle with both of my human foster “sisters.” I’m still in the process of meeting the household cats. If anything, I’m a little unsure about them and like to go back to my safe spot if I see them. I think with some time I’ll get used to them and maybe we could even have fun looking out the window together.
