Basil’s foster Mom here to tell you all about “Little ‘Basil’ Fancy Mouse

Basil is a true fancy mouse. He loves to hide by burrowing down into his paper bedding and tunneling down out of sight. He will peek out from his hidey-hole in a continuous game of hide and seek. Basil can be found running on his exercise wheel getting in his steps in the later hours of the night and the early hours of the morning.

He loves his food and treats scattered about his “room” so he can forage for it like a natural mouse does. When he thinks you are not there, Basil will scurry out to grab a snack, a drink of water or run his exercise wheel. Slowly over time with human persistence and patience he will come out to check a person’s scent and get used to a person’s voice.
