“Vroom Vroom! When you hear the name Mercedes it probably makes you think of the car. My litter IS all named after different cars, but I better identify with Mercedes from “Glee” because we are both excellent singers. I really love to sing the “songs of my people”.

I came into AARCS’ care with my littermates and our very sweet Mama, Rylee. We stayed in a whelping foster home until we were big enough to strike out on our own into new foster homes. I found my place in a home where I have two big foster dog siblings, and two hooman foster siblings.  I definitely have the potential l to be a great dog for kids because of my sweet demeanor, but right now I am still a young pup who thinks that the best way to experience the world is by tasting it. I’ve also seen some cats in the house but we have yet to meet, and am told there are some guinea pigs and a rabbit here too.

Despite being just two months old I am surprisingly good at doing my bathroom activities outside.  I have had very few accidents in the house because I am very good at belting out the high notes when nature calls.  I am also learning that my crate is a good place to be.  I will sometimes put myself in it to have a nap and only protest a little when they put me in it because it’s bedtime or the hoomans have to go out.  You might say that I have a small case of FOMO – I want to do what my hoomans are doing.

One of my favorite things is to be picked up and cuddled. Just like a baby, I calm right down and all the world is right when I’m giving cute puppy hugs. I would probably enjoy being carried around in one of those fancy puppy carriers some of the other foster hoomans have.
