About Lachlin

Lachlin answers to his name but he is also known as “cutie pie” because of his gentle, affectionate nature!

Lachlin is the perfect combination; laid back, calm when he’s sitting with his people while relaxing watching a hockey game on TV, or perhaps lying quietly on your lap. On the other hand he has his spurts of energy when he is practicing his fetch, tug play, or running in circles at great speed when he feels the need for his daily 5 minutes of “zoomies”.

This pup has been an absolute pleasure to have in our household. He has not damaged a thing, he listens when you tell him “no” and he’s content to sit and watch, while still showing interest, if you are busy doing something in the house or the yard.

As much as Lachlin wants to be by your side when you do have to leave him alone he will only complain for a few minutes, then as if to say ok if that’s the way it is, he’ll go and quietly lie down or entertain himself with a toy. When you do return even if it’s only 5 minutes later, his tail is wagging and he will likely say hello in a puppy vocal almost like talking.

Lachlin is a quiet pup; however if he is out in the fenced yard he will bark and let you know when there is a visitor coming to the house or the mail person is making the rounds. Lachlin’s housetraining is progressing with the use of the puppy pads but it’s up to his people to remember to take him out when he wakes up or when he finishes eating.

His serious expression with his beautiful eyes, that’s what you will notice first, but it will be his friendly, affectionate demeanor that will capture your heart.

If you are looking for a pup who will become the dog happy to be forever by your side, come meet Lachlin.
