Slightly timid

Hi new friends!  Would you like to give me pets? I’m Batesia, and I’m a calm, friendly, good natured kitty.  I’m a pretty independent little lady, and am happy on my own, but also like to pal around with my two foster sisters.   I’d be perfect to come home too after a tough day at the office, as  I’ve outgrown any crazy kitten tendencies.  If you’re looking for a feline companion, I love to chat with sweet little chirps, and would be happy to accept lots of pets from you.  I could also be a friendly (but not frenetic) companion for another kitty.  I’m still not a fan of a lot of action, but I’m getting braver by the day.  I’ll still probably need an adjustment period at my new house, but my foster mom will let you know it will be shorter than you think!

I will return any pets you give me with an enthusiastic purr – even when I first arrived at my foster home and not quite sure of things, I loved my pets!  My grey fur is where I love pets most, but I’m becoming more enthusiastic about contact, and will sometimes show my foster mom my beautiful white belly..  Sometimes I forget my kitty manners, especially as I become more confident, and cuddle too close, but my foster mom has been helping me with that (apparently she thinks personal space is a thing!).

I’m learning lots of fun games, like ball and string, and am a little spoiled with my kitty tv – there’s so many birds and squirrels to watch out the window.  I’m becoming more confident in my jumping abilities, but haven’t attempted the counters (yet!) and I have excellent litter box habits.
