“Hi, I’m Katelyn, but my foster humans call me Katie Girl. I’m a sweet young pup who loves to be near my people. So much so that I am still getting used to being in my crate. I make sure that you know I’d rather be snuggled up with you, but will settle down once I’m played out. I still need at least one potty break during the night.

I am working on house training and will sit at the door when I want to go out. Sometimes I get so caught up in playing that I forget, so it helps if you remind me when it’s time.

I like to explore the world, particularly with my mouth. I never know what might taste so good, I really enjoy this white stuff! I like to chew on all kinds of toys, but sometimes need a reminder of what is a toy and what is off limits to chew. I have a senior foster sister, but despite my best efforts, I can’t get her to play with me. I’m very playful and gentle in my attempts, but I guess I’m just too much fun for her.

I think I will get along just fine with other pups. I’m still working on my leash skills and haven’t had the chance to go on any big walks, but I think I will love it. I love to play, run and explore!
