Gesine (aka Jenny) came to our home a timid but happy little pup. She was affectionate right from the first car ride to her new foster home. She’s a smart little girl and would make someone a wonderful companion/family member.

“Hi, my name is Gesine or any new great name. I was roaming around all by myself until AARSC came and rescued me. Now I am in a happy foster home and learning new things all the time. I am a playful young girl and I love to play with my foster sister dog.  We play pretty hard and then we both crash for a good snooze.  I also play with a neighbor dog so my Mom thinks I am pretty good with dogs.

My basic commands are coming along and I have only had a couple pee accidents.  I don’t know how to let you know when I need to go out but I am happy to do my business outside if you take me out regularly.  My foster Mom says  I’m smart and treat motivated so it’s a great combination  for a good student( I just think I learn new things quickly).  I can already sit, and lay down and play some fun games.  I am learning to walk on a leash (those leashes are weird things).

I’m still a little timid but I’m gaining more confidence as time and experience go by.  I sure do like people and giving them kisses.  Oh, and did I say, I love toys, belly scratches and napping right beside my humans or dog sister. AND, I sleep through the night:)

I’d love to go to a home with another dog but Mom says I am young and would be fine as the only dog as well.  I do like the attention (wink). I would do best in a home that’s going to give me lots of play and exercise and then I’ll be the best little angel.
