“Hi, my name is Gordy!

I came into foster care as a pretty shy young man but I’ve sure come out of my shell during my time with my foster family. I’m now a playful pup who is growing in confidence every day, and I’m in search of my forever home to grow up and keep becoming my best self. My foster mom thinks I am just the sweetest thing. I love being held and I am one of those dogs who is just easy to connect with.

I’m a food motivated guy who loves toys. All toys! Balls, stuffies, rubber chews, snuffle mats, Kong Wobblers, Kongs. You name it, I love it! My basic commands are coming along and I’m mostly pee pad trained. I don’t know how to tell you when I need to go out yet but I’ll happily go do my business outside if you take me out regularly.

I’m mostly cool with my crate and usually sleep peacefully all night long. If I’ve had it with my crate or am not ready to be in there, I’ll show you my best **adorable** “let me out!” howl. It’s quite impressive.

I’m a big fan of other dogs and would be super happy to have a dog companion. I haven’t met any cats or kids yet but my foster family think I’d be OK with both since I’m a pretty gentle, easy-going dude.
