“Hi! My name is Jinx and I’m a bringer of good luck because I got nothing but so much love to give!

I know I look like a big gal, but don’t let my size fool ya, I am just shy of four months so am very much a puppy. Or as my foster mom likes to call me her “fluffy ball of energy” because well, I got a LOT of it. I just get so excited that I sometimes forget I am playing with others not just myself.

When I’m not zooming, I like to channel my enthusiasm for the outdoors into daily walks which I have been doing very well on with a harness and some light redirection. I have lots to explore still and meeting cats, dogs, and tiny humans are at the top of my bucket list.

When I’m not busy exploring the world around me, you can find me at home, a place that I am not always a fan of. I am slowly getting used to the idea. Like having my own space. I just love my people so much that I have a hard time being away from them and when you put me in my crate and leave the room for a bit I’ve been known to loudly protest for a few minutes before settling down to catch some Zzzs.

Another thing I have gotten pretty good at in the short time that I have been with my foster family is knowing where to go to the bathroom outside – as for when that needs to happen, I’m still working out the logistics on how to ask, so letting me out regularly is the key.

Personal business aside, I have also been learning basic commands (like “sit” and “down”) and refining my polite doggie manners, but with your patience, practice (and a treat in hand!) I have shown to be a quick study!

Ideally, I would love a home with an experienced dog family who understands that goods things take time to shine and know that puppies need consistency so that I can grow into the best gal pal a human can ask for!” – xo, Jinx
