About Marsten

Moderately shy

Initially cautious, shy guy who will warm to his people with a little time. Marsten is new to our foster home and is quickly becoming more confident here, as change is often quite scary. He spent much of his early days in hiding but is now happy to come sit with the people or perch on the cat tower with a good view.  As he’s becoming more comfortable, he’s showing he loves cuddles and attention, he purrs heartily and leans in for more neck scritches, with a sweet blissful expression.

He is currently on a specialized food formulated to support digestion health which he seems to really enjoy.  He’ll be seeing the vet again very soon in this regard.

This kitty does like to play, loves to lounge, especially in warm sunny spots or near a good window with a view.  He’s good about using his litter box appropriately and staying off of counters and tables.  He does have a very good appetite so we’ve been keeping foods safely stored away in cupboards.  He does like to use the cat tower here as a scratching post, whereas the cardboard scratchers aren’t appealing to him.   He’s very handsome, and unique with a little patch of white on his face.  His fur is very fluffy and thick, he likes being brushed, a sparsely bristled brush would suit him best.
