Hippity-hoppity how do you do?

Our names are Zara (Domestic – Grey Female) and Theo (Domestic – Brown Male), and we just so happen to be best friends! That means that we are bonded and are looking for a new home together.

We love having each other for company, but still require enough space and separate hiding structures for each of us so that we can have our privacy whenever we need it.

Between the two of us, Zara is much braver and more curious and has already begun to unpack her bags and adjust to her new enclosure and caretakers at North Haven. I, Theo, however, am a bit more timid and don’t like to count my chickens before they hatch. I tend to run and hide whenever someone comes by as I get used to all the new scary surroundings and faces, but my caregivers here are working on my bravery and in no time at all I should be eating treats out of their hands.

When we’re left to ourselves, we like exploring our enclosures and snuggling in one of our bigger hiding structures. We love munching on all kinds of veggies, and the occasional treat whenever our caregivers give into our puppy dog eyes. We would be wonderful companions for anyone with some extra space whose looking to open their hearts up to an adorable pair of buns.
