About Dandelion
Extremely shy
Introducing…the playful…the silly…the adorable…Miss Dandelion!! Miss Dandelion came to us with her 2 siblings at just 3 months old. She was terrified of humans. Over the past few months she has done AMAZING and most recently, has been napping on her foster mama’s lap and rolling over for belly scratches! She will allow her foster mom to pick her up, cut her claws, crate her when vet visits are due, pet her, cuddle her, brush her, and the list goes on.
She’s still wary, especially if humans move a bit too quickly or are too noisy but quickly comes back to see what’s going on. She has been allowed to leave our cat room and was quick to explore the house, and other humans. Dandelion is learning to like being a part of the action, and I am confident she will continue to learn, grow and thrive. She LOVES our resident cats, particularly her “”Uncle”” Sven and “”Cousin”” Sully. They spend a ton of time in the cat room showing Dandelion and her siblings the ropes, and teaching them that humans really are okay and helping to build her confidence and sense of safety.
Dandelion needs to be in a home with no kids, or older kids as the noise and quick movements still make her really nervous. She also needs to be in a home with a friendly, confident cat who will take her under their “”paw”” and continue to help her learn to feel safe around humans, and build her confidence and “”mother”” her a bit. She hasn’t met any dogs yet so unsure of how she’ll do.
Her furever hoomans need to have patience, compassion, and the willingness to allow her to grow and learn to trust at her own pace. Your patience and love will be well rewarded with cat cuddles, purrs and kitty kisses once this little sweet heart has learned to trust you! Apply today!
