Hi! My name is
Date of Birth
September 28, 2022
When my foster took me in, they were told I was a boy and named me ‘Duke’, but I’m actually a girl! I have been fostered with my little sister, and I love puppy playtime. My favorite games are tug-of-war, keep away, and chase me around the house! I would be happy in a house with or without other canine companion(s).
I am getting so much better with my playful nipping, and my foster has been teaching me ‘licks not nips’. I’m curious about the kitties in my foster home. Sometimes they can get me a little too excited, and my foster needs to remind me to give them their space. I would be ok in a home with kitty companions, as long as we were introduced properly. I also love children and want to say hi to them all the time when I walk by them tobogganing!
My foster is so impressed with how quickly I learn commands. I’ve only been with my foster for a few weeks, and I already know; my name, ‘Come’, ‘Sit’, ‘Down’, and ‘Get outta there’. So smart! I am also perfectly content in my room with my crate at night, and when I’m put to bed, I sleep right through the night. So brave!
I have been so good with my training with my foster. I am leash trained, potty trained, and crate trained. Wow! I barely have any accidents in the house anymore, and I sleep through the night in my crate with a chew toy or two. I love long walks in my harness, and I’m good at sitting at every intersection. Make sure to bring lots of treats!
I know that you will fall in love with me as soon as you meet me! I’d love to live with another (older) dog or in a high energy household with kids and a yard. I can’t wait to be in my furever home.” – xo, Caelan
