“Looking for a new cuddle mate to go on adventures with? Then pick me!

My name is Chocolate Chip. I grew up with my mom (Cookie) and my littermates in a whelping home after coming into AARCS’ care. Now I live in a foster home with my foster parents, their resident dogs (medium to large sized), and one of my sisters (Oreo). I am a sweet boy who likes to nap on my parent’s lap or next to them on the couch. I also like joining them in bed in the morning. I’m a pretty social pup, who likes to meet new people. I’m very active and spunky and like to explore, wrestle, play bite-face and race around with the resident dogs and my sister…sometimes I act bigger than I really am.

I am looking for a home where they will take me on lots of cool adventures to experience new things, new scents, new people, new adventures. It would be great to have a doggy sibling in my new home, but if not I would love for my new home to take me to doggy daycare or on pack walks (when old enough and trained enough) so I can meet some new friends. I don’t like being left behind when the resident dogs all go for their walk…but I keep getting told I’m too young still and need more vaccines. Makes sense, I’m glad my parents protect me.

I’m very food-motivated which helps me during my training sessions…and like to tell stories. I am full of them…maybe we can write a book together?! Currently, I sleep in a kennel in my parents’ bedroom, I am working on my house training, and am getting better every day! I also know how to use the doggy door to go in and out when I want to. I like hanging out in the backyard as well, and am pretty happy exploring in the snow.
