Extremely shy

DJ is a gorgeous pewter gray short haired kitten! She is shy but playful! DJ and her sisters were 3 months old when rescued with their mom. DJ was very fearful due to prior human contact but over time has started to trust us. She spent the first week trying to hide but now greets me with a ‘mrrrp’ and approaches to see what treat I might have for her. We haven’t been able to pet her yet.

She can be enticed to play with string and balls and is getting more comfortable every day. She even let me boop her on the nose! DJ enjoys rolling around playing with toys in her paws and pulling herself to slide around lying on the carpet. She always uses the litter box and digs really well so a deep litter box will help decrease the mess 😉

DJ needs someone patient to help her work on socialization and confidence. She is progressing well, and as she is only 7 months old, will continue to make great strides! She would benifit a younger active cat to show her the ropes. Apply today!
