Lena is an attentive dog. She loves human company and is quite affectionate and charming!

Here are somethings about me that will help make your decision…..

I am 3 years old so I have lots of energy to play. My favourite game is chasing the ball outside in the backyard. All you have to do is stand or sit and throw the ball and I promise to bring it back to you so we can do it again!  Going for daily walks is good for both of us.  It will help us stay healthy. Although I do need a little reminder that birds and bunnies don’t  want to play with me. All you need to say is “Lena Focus” and then I will continue my walk and strut my stuff. Another great way I use my energy is playing with enrichment toys. I will chase and chase them around and around the house for awhile. Which is great fun for me and entertaining for you!

When you’re at work I’ll patiently wait in my crate until you return and then I will greet you with love and kisses. I am completely house trained and know when I need to go outside to do my business. Above all I love to cuddle! We can cuddle while you watch TV or snuggle just before bed is best!

Some things I am working on:

– meal time I get very excited and forget I need to slow down to eat! My foster parents use a feeder bowl to help slow me down.

– I get really excited about treats and meals. My foster parents are showing me that when I am calm and sitting I will be rewarded with the treat or meal.  I am showing signs of improvement but I know I still need practice.

My foster parents are impressed with how well I listen and follow directions. They love how I am ready to go and participate in daily adventures or just hang out and snuggle. I will make the perfect fur friend for anyone looking for a loyal and loving companion. If you decide to adopt me I promise we will be friends for life!” – xo, Lena
