“Hey! Thanks for stopping by, I’m Fizz or Izzy, that’s what my foster mom calls me.

I had a family once, but the little human got sick and they couldn’t keep me anymore. Don’t feel bad for me, I’m having a great time with my foster mom and I know my new loving forever family is out there looking for me. Wait ~ is it you?!

Well, let me tell you something about myself. I am super sweet and well manner around people, walks well around the neighborhood and I don’t overly reacts to them little creatures; you know those with have big ears that hops around, oh! and the other ones with the long puff tail that climbs trees. I don’t always keep my cool with other dogs though, so we gotta watch out for them, foster mom tells me I am overreacting and is working with me to manage my anxiety.

I love going on walks and exploring the world with my nose, connecting with my hunter hound ancestry, I also likes to sing when I’m left alone (my foster mom caught my solo act on camera). What I dislike is sudden movements and noises, in other words, I get startled easily. The good people of AARCS say I’m a little on the skinny side, shhh, don’t tell the other girls because they might get jealous. I am eating more now and exercising with my foster mom, we will have that summer body soon.

I am great with people, although maybe best I’m supervised around little humans, in case I might knock them over with my hugs and kisses. My basic obedience is fair, but would love to have someone who can keep working and strengthening them with me, this could also help with ‘tuning down’ my dog reactivity. A backyard would be nice and maybe not sharing a wall with neighbors … not everyone appreciates my singing from time-to-time.
