Miki (goes by Orion) is 7 years old but a puppy at heart who just wants someone to love him and a nice face to lick!

If you give him attention he will be stuck to your side and will never leave it, the times he does venture away he will sprint back to you when you call his name, his recall is superb! If you are an active person who loves going on walks he is your guy!

Miki was adopted when he was a puppy and was recently surrendered when his parents separated. Everyday at the foster home he is getting more comfortable as he figures out his new environment. With the recent change, Miki appears to have developed separation distress and the foster parents are working on crate training him, which he is slowly getting accustom to. Miki is able to sleep all night in the crate with no issues!

Miki would do best in a home that is experienced with owning working dogs such as Australian Cattle Dogs and is patient with him as he settles in to his forever home! He would do well living with other dogs or on his own as he spent most of his life living with a dog and has gotten along well with the fosters dog.

Miki would do best with a family that has a backyard as he gets very focused on walks and doesn’t go to the bathroom until he is home. Miki has not been tested with kids but based on his demeanor, we believe he would do well with older children!
