Vail is a curious girl who loves being close to her people and will happily join you on any adventure. If you’re looking for a snuggle buddy, Vail is your girl as a certified expert cuddler.

Vail enjoys playing with other dogs, loves all kinds of toys, and is fully embracing the puppy phase of “everything goes in my mouth.” She has met some cat friends on leash and is easily redirected with treats. New people and unfamiliar situations can make her a bit unsure at first, but with slow, gentle introductions she warms up quickly. Vail is a smarty pants that takes direction well except when it comes to counters; never one to be excluded, Vail is a counter surfer through and through. 

Vail has been working on basic commands such as sit, paw, lie down, etc. Vail loves to chew toys and is highly food motivated making training easy peasy. She sleeps through the night and has no accidents through the day as long as she is let out frequently. She still needs her puppy naps, but when she’s awake, she’s happiest with plenty of engaging activities.

Vail would benefit from more exposure training to busy places such as walking parks or plazas. We have not quite mastered going to the bathroom on leash and do not mind being put in our crate as long as the resident dogs are nearby. 

This bright and beautiful pup is hoping to find a family who will appreciate all her adorable quirks. With time, attention, and patience, Vail is ready to make this Christmas your best one yet.
