Bark! Hello! I’m Tull and I am an extremely lovable, energetic and loyal 1-year-old male German Shepard cross. If I were a monkey, you could call me Curious George as I’m so lovable, loyal, full of play and curiosity!

“I arrived in Calgary late January recovering from demodex mange, and was quickly introduced to my new foster family of Mom, Dad, 2 teenagers and their older boring dog, Darwin. I settled right into the swing of things and although Darwin wasn’t too impressed with me initially in his home, we now get along. I love the outdoors! I love walks and am anxious to show you how much I improve when walking every day. I love rolling around on the ice and frosty grassy parts. Sometimes I get excited and show off my bark when I see other dogs on walks. If I see a rabbit or squirrel, then it’s off to the races for me! I like to stay close to Foster Mom when passing people on walks too, and I walk well on leash. I haven’t been around cats, but I’m pretty sure that if chasing cats or other small pets was a sport, I’d be going for gold. I have had alot of fun playing outdoors with active, energetic pups or people like me! I love playing with active older children. It is very important that I find a home with another active dog like me, or a family who wants to continue to set up playdates for my puppy energy. I really like being the center of attention, your bestest friend.
I love my Foster family so much that I sometimes end up jumping and mouthing when I get excited to see them. For this reason, I think older kids in the home would be best. Strangers and new people? I love to meet new people in my home but it can be stressful initially so please let me meet people at my own speed until I get to know them…then I’m all about pets and belly rubs!
Did I mention how super smart that I am? When I behave a certain way after my family says only a word or two, I get rewarded so quickly! I have learned so many yummy words! I love learning new things in exchange for food! I’m still very much a puppy and would benefit from some continued training and ways to keep me busy. I’m working on crate training, and I’ve been known to be whiney for a few minutes before I settle down into a nap. A bone or Kong toy helps me to settle too!
I’m completely house trained and have never had an accident in the house. I even wait til we get out of our yard before going potty! Come meet me today, everyone brags about how good of a boy I am!”

If you adopt me, I’ll be the most loyal fun-loving pet. I’m so smart and each day with my family is such an adventure!
