    Story

Miss Penelope is a strong, loyal, spunky girl with lots of energy.

“Hi there! My name is Penelope and I’m a super cute smart girl with lots of energy. Now that I am off of crate rest I love to go go go and I really like to play ball, love to chew on hard rubbery toys and ropes, and I really like toys that squeak. My foster home has a big yard where I really like to do my zoomies and chase the other three big dogs. I’m super fast on feet but sometimes I get over excited, so I would love a fur brother or sister that can keep up with me and won’t mind jumping all over them. Because I was on crate rest for so long, when I came off of it I was a little bit mouthy and liked to play rough – meaning a family with older kids (16+) would be best for me, and an active home who can keep up with my training.

I really like food so I would do any trick if you give me a treat because I’m super smart. I like to go for walks and I’m pretty good on leash when I have my harness on and I like to explore. I don’t mind going in my crate but if I don’t see you I will whine because I love to have my peeps around and I’m not a fan of being alone. At bed time I go out for my potty break, then I cuddle with Mom for a bit, then off into my crate of course with a few pieces of kibble. Then I am out for the night.

I really hope my new family loves to be outdoors and want to spend a lot of time with me because all I want to do is be by your side all the time.” love, Penelope
