Hey Boo Boo…lets go find us a pic-a-nic basket!

“Yogi here and I am smarter than the average bear (dog)! I am a big boy and I use my natural gifts to get what I want….what I want is cuddles, food and a nice leisurely walk around the neighborhood.
My foster momma has tried to explain to me the need of a personal space bubble….especially after I have been in the water dish (slobbery drool is not everyone’s cup of tea) but I just don’t understand how someone as cute and cuddly as I am can not be a lap dog…..or how the fact that my head is at the same level as your knees could be a problem?!?
I have to say I am pretty good on leash but I do forget that if I want to go see one of those wascally wabbit I have to be careful to not pull too hard.
It’s just so hard being this big and not understanding that if I sit on your feet you may not be able to move away from me….or maybe I do know this and that is why I sit on my foster momma feet so she has to keep petting me!
I am slowly finding out that being an inside dog is nice especially when it is snowy and cold outside but I do get a little afraid if I am put in a small box…momma calls them “”kennels”” and sometimes “”enclosures””. If she leaves me alone too long I will sing the song of my people….and trust me I can sing!
I am currently sharing my foster momma’s home with what she calls her resident dog…who I call the “”other””. I like to play with the “”other”” a little but only for short periods of time and then when the “”other”” tries to come into my space if I don’t want him too I forget my manners and tend to tell him off.
I also get to see the two kitties that my foster momma has….and man those two kitties are the best! They get to sleep all day, get food and cuddles when ever they want….just like what I dream about for my furever home!”
