Koda is a sweet young girl; she’s been in foster care for about 4 weeks while she recovered from surgery on her mouth. Her porcupine-inflicted injury has healed completely.
“She’s usually pretty calm, even in busy or chaotic situations. She’s gone from being afraid of our cat to trying to play with him; she’ll lick his eyes & ears. She’s quiet when the doorbell rings & is friendly when greeting people, with a wagging tail.
She is a smart, quiet little girl who loves her people. She sometimes barks at other dogs if they bark at her, but she is a little on the socially awkward side and is not sure how to initiate play – she would be happy with another calmer dog in the home, or a smaller to medium sized playful dog while she builds up her confidence. A larger or rude dog might intimidate her, and scare her off – she would love a friend to help her build up her dog skills!
Because little critters such as birds and squirrels are fun to chase, a home without little pets would be best for her!
Koda’s ideal home would be with a quieter family, who has time to dedicate to long walks and cuddles. ”
