“Hello… I’m Spice… And I’m a CUDDLE-A-HOLIC! It’s only been a few minutes since my last snuggle. Relapsing is what I do best when it comes to affection! I just can’t get enough of it!
My foster mom says I’m a Gentle Giant and I’m also the best HUGGER! I’m currently spending my days in a foster home with two other dogs and a grumpy cat. I get along with them all but I get a little nervous when my foster sisters play wrestle too hard. Thankfully my foster mom and dad will sit and snuggle with me while I watch them act like buffoons! The cat doesn’t really bother me and sometimes he even sits next to me, when he’s not being so grumpy. I love all sorts of people and would cuddle with everyone if they let me! I would love to find a nice, relaxed family, who enjoy the finer things in life! You know… like chilling on the couch snuggling up with a good book or a movie! I do love my walks though, and I’m pretty good on a leash!
One thing I DON’T like…. PORCUPINES! I tried to be friends with one once, and it was really mean! It smacked me with its pointy quills!! Can you believe that!! There are still a few quills under my skin but they don’t bother me much. My foster mom says they will come out soon. I really hope my forever home has lots of carpet or even non-slip floors! Tile and laminate floors make me nervous and I try to avoid them as much as possible! My foster family has been helping me to become more confident. I can be a little shy and sometimes feel withdrawn. I know I have come a long way though because I am getting braver every day! So, if you’re into cuddles and you’re a couch potato like me, I can’t wait to meet you! It would be a dream come true to find my forever family, especially a family who loves hugs as much as I do!” – XO Spice

Does this Animal have Special Needs?
Both, Medical and Behavioral
Spice has a few quills around her chest and front armpits that are still migrating out. She is also scared of laminate floors and would be best in a home with carpet or mats. Spice will require a bit of patience from her new family as she continues to build confidence in herself.
