Cronix is a special boy looking for his special someone.
Cronix came into care along with his mom and siblings when he was just a few weeks old. We quickly noticed that he had some issues with his front legs. He was really bow-legged and when he walked, one of his paws would knuckle under. We determined that he had a a congenital issue with the tendons in his legs and started to work on correcting it. This condition isn’t 100% curable – but with some simple at-home physio exercises and massages, his legs have greatly improved! They are now almost normal and most people would never know that he used to struggle to walk. Now he is able to run and climb faster and better than the other cats. He is not expected to have any future issues, but it is recommended that he maintain an ideal weight to ensure there isn’t any unnecessary strain on his legs.
Cronix likes to split his time equally between olympic-level play sessions and award-winning cuddles. This little man is quite a lover! He is a chatty little shadow who follows you everywhere and starts purring if you so much as glance in his direction. He can be a bit timid with strangers and does tend to be startled easily, so he’s looking for a calmer home without young children. Cronix becomes distressed when he’s alone, so he will require a feline companion in his adoptive home. He is also sharing his foster home with small to medium sized older dogs and is accepting of them as long as they are gentle and well behaved.
If you and Cronix sound like a purr-fect fit, please fill out an adoption application today!
