Hello my name is Beatrix (but I respond better to just Bea), I am a super sweet girl and I am very excited to meet my forever family!

My foster parents don’t know much about my background, but they have found out that I am a great walker and I am good with other cats and dogs! I think I like people best and like to follow my foster mom around the house like a shadow and be the centre of her attention. I do get a little anxious (cry and maybe pace a little, but no destruction!) when she disappears into another room or when my foster parents first leaves for work, but we are working on that, and it helps me to have a tasty treat as a distraction, once I settle down I am good for the day. My foster parents have a dog walker a couple days a week and I love having a little break and making friends with other people and dogs.

It would be great if my future family has a backyard for me to sniff around, as I prefer to do my business in the yard versus on walks and I am very good when my foster mom tells me to go to the bathroom. So far I am not very interested in toys, but maybe one day I will be as I get more comfortable, every once in awhile I like to throw one around and roll on it. Mostly I love going for walks and snuggling, and hopefully, you’ll let me on the couch and make my dreams a reality!

I also would like to learn a few tricks and get those yummy treats, so it would be good if my new family would teach me some useful commands like stay and shake a paw. When it comes to taking treats from you I is very gentle.

So if you are looking for a best friend for life – come and meet me!
