Hi Im Trudy! Boy are things looking up since my rescue.
When I came into care I was so scared and had a small injury beside my eye. It’s all healed up now and I am getting such great care in my foster home.
Things like regular feedings, toys, soft beds, and love is new to me. I’m nervous of new things that I haven’t experienced and quite shy with new people. I was real scared of this large dog in my foster home at first, but now we are great friends, I love wrestling with her. I’m learning so much from this dog, and I’m so much braver when I’m with her. I love the outdoors and am doing pretty good on the leash. A backyard to play in would be so great!
I’ve had no accidents in the house when let out regularly. I sleep quietly all through the night in my crate. Oh and did you know I sit calmly like a good girl for treats.
I am coming out of my shell more and more everyday but it will still take a while to feel confident and secure in this loud world, I will need a patient home who will continue to build my confidence up. Fast movements are a bit scary, so perhaps older children would be best for me. I would benefit greatly from puppy classes that use positive reinforcement techniques.
I do like to be with my people even though I’m not quite at that cuddling stage yet but I know it’s in me, perhaps I’m just waiting for you!
Not only will my baby blues melt your heart, my sweetness will too!
