I’m a small dog who wants a loving companion in a quieter home.

Hi everyone! My name is Squints and I’m a small dog with a big heart. I love pets and scratches and absolutely love to play with squeaky toys. I’m the type of dog that likes to take things slow. Slow eating, slow introductions, slow actions, slow walks, you get the idea. I would be best suited to a home with older children who understand that running up to me is not the best way to say hi. I would also be better in a home with no cats and preferably no dogs as well or dogs that are small like me, but I’m working on my social skills with other dogs. I love, love, love to go for walks and sometimes I’m just so excited to go for them that I forget to sit still while I get my harness on! But that’s ok! My foster mom is working on getting me to sit like a good boy and be patient while she clips everything together. Speaking of walks, I love going out and taking my time to smell every single bush and lawn. Who likes to rush through everything anyways? I can’t wait to find my forever family who will take me out for walks and love me and cuddle me and play with me and now I’m rambling. Anywho, let the good people at AARCS know if you would be interested in being my furever family!

If you want a dog who loves to greet you in the morning or when you get home, Squints is the boy for you!
