  • Our Story

    FROM HOMER:

“My foster family calls me Henry, they think I am way too handsome to be called Homer!”

Henry is a calm, curious and loving boy. He is obviously SUPER handsome, as well as very clean. He takes pride in grooming himself and always uses the litter box like a true gentleman. He has come so far from when he first arrived with us as a shut down boy who spent all of his time hiding and unsure of people. Although it took some time, he has learned to trust and now loves gentle ear rubs and being brushed. He knows his name and responds well to it. He really loves his food, especially the Temptations treats he gets at bedtime.

Henry is bonded with his friend Hap, the two of them have grown very attached and rely on each other to feel safe and secure as they continue to develop their trust and enjoy the world around them. Henry loves attention, and with patience in a new situation, will make a wonderful, easygoing and loving companion.

    FROM HAP:

“My foster family calls me Bastian!!”

Bastian is a gorgeous , quiet, sweet and shy boy. He is extremely clean, grooms himself and always uses the litter box. Although he has come a long way, he’s still learning to trust. With time, love, kindness and patience I believe he will come right around. Right now he depends on his friend Homer to lean on. He is a gentle soul and gets along with all of the other cats. When startled or scared he will find a safe place to hide until he realizes all is okay, then he will come back out. Here he has a cat tree he uses as his ” safe spot “. He tolerates ear and head scratches, and in time with that special someone he’ll learn to love them I think! He loves to be talked to, and will come out at Temptations time to sit and watch, and will accept some if they’re gently placed near him.

He is so easy to love, and just needs that special loving home who will be patient with him so he can learn to trust them. He adores Homer, and they are very much bonded, relying on each other as they continue to grow, trust and enjoy the world around them!
